The middle class families and seniors of the Hempstead Town’s 4th District have a proven tax fighter working for them.
Councilman Anthony D’Esposito continues to consistently put our hardworking neighbors first.
Thanks to his work and that of Supervisor Anthony J. Santino, just 9 cents out of every tax dollar comes to Hempstead Town (and less than 1 cent if you reside in an incorporated village like Cedarhurst, Lynbrook, Woodsburgh, Lawrence, Island Park, East Rockaway, Hewlett Harbor, Rockville Centre, Hewlett Neck or Hewlett Bay Park). And the monies fund a wide variety of top-notch and responsive governmental services & programs you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
As the former Chief of the Island Park Fire Department and an NYPD Detective, Councilman D’Esposito knows firsthand about reducing governmental costs and expenditures that do not negatively impact programs and services.
Councilman D’Esposito is also committed to never exceeding Governor Andrew Cuomo’s property tax cap.
In today’s difficult economy, neighbors are economizing by cutting back and prioritizing their spending to make ends meet. Town residents in the 4th District deserve the same responsible budgeting and proper fiscal management from their government leaders.
Working long hours year-round with Supervisor Anthony J. Santino, Councilman D’Esposito is committed to properly steward the finances of America’s largest township … all while making sure no budget he votes for contains fiscal tricks, gimmicks or one-shot revenues.
Councilman D’Esposito has consistently pledged to maintain – and improve – town programs, services and facilities while ensuring neighbors’ tax dollars are always shown the utmost respect.
