Councilman Anthony D’Esposito knows that economic development in our local communities is the engine that drives our economy.
From your street to Main Street, existing businesses and community Chambers of Commerce need the support and partnership of town government to help our economy grow and prosper.
Small businesses in our communities need a partner to grow and expand, providing jobs to countless neighbors that spurs true economic development.
In the 4th District, Councilman D’Esposito recently helped oversee the construction and installation of a handicapped access ramp in East Rockaway in addition to a $131,000 streetscape project in Oceanside on Atlantic Avenue adjacent to Dee’s Nursery that transformed the area for the better by adding new curbs, sidewalks, brick pavers, trees and decorative lighting.
Councilman D’Esposito and the Town Department of Planning & Economic Development are presently looking at other streetscape projects throughout the district.
